“Healing doesn’t just impact one person; it transforms entire families.”
How One IHP Graduate Rebuilt Her Health
Theresa Kasper, IHP, has lived what many of her clients are just beginning to learn — that healing often begins when you start listening to your body. Her journey into the integrative wellness field was shaped by personal challenges, curiosity, and a lifelong passion for helping others thrive.
As Theresa puts it, “Everything I had gone through suddenly had purpose,” and that purpose continues to guide her mission today.
A Background Rooted in Helping Others
Theresa spent 12 years teaching Special Education before becoming a health coach. Those years shaped her perspective on the connection between health and daily function. She recalls, “I witnessed firsthand how poor nutrition impacted my students’ behavior, focus, and overall learning.”
After having her son, she felt called to deepen her understanding of health. With a strong desire to help people reach their potential, shifting from education to integrative wellness felt natural.
A Personal Health Crisis That Changed Everything for Theresa Kasper
Theresa’s health journey began with IBS and eczema in her early twenties, but things intensified after giving birth in 2021.
She shares, “Just five weeks after giving birth, I needed to have my gallbladder removed.” The recovery was slow and filled with challenges like anemia, chronic fatigue, and eventually an autoimmune condition.
Despite these struggles, Theresa discovered a renewed sense of hope. “I’ve seen firsthand how stress and imbalance can break the body down, but also how consistency and self-care can rebuild it,” she says.
Supportive detox protocols, daily supplements, and foundational lifestyle changes helped her experience a full transformation — and ultimately redirected her career path.
Why Theresa Kasper Chose IHPI
As someone who had to advocate for her own health, Theresa became deeply invested in learning how the body works. “During my health journey, I had to become my own healthcare provider,” she explains.
She spent a year immersed in research, listening to podcasts, experimenting with lifestyle changes, and becoming the “go-to” friend for wellness advice.
A defining moment came after her father passed away from stage 4 cancer. She shares, “That experience solidified my conviction to lead my family toward a healthier future.”
IHPI became the missing piece — the structure, tools, and education she needed to help others.
Root-Cause Healing: How Her Approach Differs
Theresa’s approach focuses on uncovering what’s driving symptoms, not just managing them. She explains, “I don’t just look at symptoms — I look for what’s causing them.”
Through this perspective, clients begin to understand:
- Skin issues often reflect deeper imbalances
- Fatigue may stem from stress, toxicity, or nutrient deficiencies
- Symptoms are signals, not isolated problems
Theresa believes this is empowering. “Healing is possible once we uncover the root cause,” she emphasizes.

Personalization is at the center of Theresa’s coaching. Before meeting a client, she reviews intake forms to spot underlying connections in their story. “I look for the big picture of their health, not just isolated symptoms,” she says.
She also uses tools like a modified toxicity quiz to identify a client’s “boulders” — their biggest obstacles to healing. Her approach follows the DESTRESS protocol, which helps clients build strong foundations step by step.
One of her favorite transformations is “watching those boulders move from a 3 down to a 1 or even a 0 by the end of our 12 weeks.”
How Her Work Evolved in 2025
This year, Theresa expanded into group coaching, including hosting parasite cleanse classes for clients wanting more guidance. She noticed that people often struggle to get started because of the overwhelming amount of online misinformation.
That’s why she continually updates her resources and programs. “I’m always evaluating what my clients need most,” she explains.
Her upcoming group detox will offer live calls, recipes, guidance, and community support — providing clarity in a space that often feels confusing.
A Client Success Story That Represents Her Approach
One of Theresa’s most memorable clients in 2025 struggled with hives, fatigue, poor sleep, and severe brain fog. As they worked together, Theresa suspected mold exposure might be a missing link — and she was right.
By addressing the environmental exposure and supporting the body with targeted detox strategies, the client saw rapid improvements. Theresa recalls, “Her energy, sleep, and mental clarity began to return within weeks.”
The client’s sister later reached out privately to thank Theresa, sharing how incredible it was to see her sibling finally feel like herself again.
Theresa says, “Healing doesn’t just impact one person; it transforms entire families.”
Emotional and Mental Breakthroughs
Theresa also saw deep emotional shifts among clients this year. As their toxic load decreased, so did their stress and overwhelm. She explains, “Their minds become clearer, calmer, and less stressed.”
One client told her that lifelong anxiety and depression completely resolved within months. For Theresa, these moments highlight how “our physical and emotional health are deeply connected.”
Skills From IHPI That Made the Biggest Difference
Theresa found IHPI’s training on toxins and supplementation especially impactful. “They gave me the confidence to understand why certain imbalances occur,” she says.
With this knowledge, she personalizes protocols that help clients make meaningful and lasting progress.
The Power of the IHPI Community
Theresa credits the IHPI community for motivating her throughout 2025. She shares, “I’ve built amazing friendships and found a network of peers I can turn to for honest conversations.”
From the leadership team to fellow coaches, the support has been invaluable.
New Opportunities for Theresa Kasper in 2025
Theresa saw exciting growth this year — from building her online community to speaking as a podcast guest on detox and low-tox living.
She was also nominated for the first-ever IHP Awards and selected as a guest for the Integrative Health Coach Success Podcast.
“It’s been incredible to watch my business and social media presence expand through consistency and authenticity,” she says.
Her Most Rewarding Moments
Whether it’s improved energy, clearer skin, or restored confidence, Theresa treasures her clients’ wins. She explains, “Every small victory matters.”
Watching clients feel like themselves again is the most fulfilling part of her work.
Advice for Future Coaches
Theresa encourages aspiring coaches to ask for support and embrace discomfort. “Confidence comes with time, practice, and experience,” she assures them.
Growth happens when you step forward — even when you’re unsure.
Finding Balance at Home and Work
As a part-time stay-at-home mom planning to homeschool, Theresa has learned to build flexibility into her schedule. “Balance isn’t about perfection,” she says. “It’s about finding what works best for your family.”
What She Loves Most About Coaching
For Theresa, nothing compares to uncovering the “why” behind a client’s symptoms. “Watching someone make meaningful progress is incredibly rewarding,” she says.
Helping clients gain clarity and confidence is what keeps her passionate.
