Do I need to have a medical degree, any pre-qualifications, or a medical background to become an IHP?

Not at all. While having a healthcare background can be helpful, it is not a requirement.

What are the differences between the different IHP Levels?

Level 1 teaches you to become world-class in helping people with customizing Diet Bio-Individualization, Exercise Programming, Stress Reduction, Toxin Removal, Rest & Resetting the Nervous System, Emotional Balance, Supplement Protocols, and creating a Success Mindset. Level 2 builds upon that knowledge of the DESTRESS Protocol® and provides education on how to read at-home lab tests.

When does the course start and finish?

The course starts now and never ends! Each module is released 1 week apart from each other upon enrolling to help set a steady pace, but we recommend taking at least 2 week per module to fully absorb the material. Besides this drip feature of each module, the time it takes to complete the course can be self-paced and you decide when you actually start and finish!

Can I pause my membership?

There’s no need to pause a membership since you can take as long as you need to study the material and then pass the exams.

How long does it take to complete the IHP Certification?

The Level 1 IHP® certification will take most people about 3-6 months and Level 2 will also take about 3-6 months. Each module is released 1 week apart from each other to help set a steady pace, but we recommend taking at least 2 week per module to fully absorb the material. Besides that, you can go at your own pace! To become both Level 1 and Level 2 IHP® Certified you should plan for about 3 hours of study time per week for 6-12 months. The more you dedicate time to your study, the faster you will move through and master the material.

Can you become an Integrative Health Practitioner if you live internationally (outside of the United States)?

Since IHP is an online health coaching certification and not a license to practice medicine, it can be used as health education coaching anywhere in the world.  The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) and the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) are accreditations that we have that can help you get insurance to practice internationally.

Will I have access to at-home-labs and how does it work?

IHP Level 2 Graduates currently have access to all at-home labs that they are certified to provide education on. All labs provided by a third-party supplier are CLIA certified. To learn more about this process and to see if shipping of the labs is available in your area, feel free to book an appointment with one of our Enrollment Counselors here.

I live in a lab restricted state. Can I still take Level 2 if I live in NY?

US law currently prohibits at-home labs from being completed in the state of New York.

However, you can still benefit from the education provided in IHP Level 2! In addition, many people work virtually with clients in different states and are still able to provide them with access to these at-home lab kits.

Please reach out to us with any questions: [email protected]

Do I have a limited amount of time to complete my certification?

No! You may take as long as needed to move at your pace and complete all the modules on your own time, however, we strongly recommend completing Level 1 within 6 months max, and Level 2 within 7 months max, in order to stay on track for graduation.

Can I skip Level 1?

No, level 1 is the pre-requisite for all other levels since it is the IHP® Foundation on how to use the DESTRESS Protocol® that Dr. Cabral developed and has implemented in over 250,000 appointments.

Can I upgrade to Level 2 at a later time?

Yes, you may upgrade to the next level at a later date as long as there is availability at that time. Also, the price may not reflect the discount with signing up for both courses at the same time.

How long do I have access to the course?

How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own.

Do you offer support for your members?
