Founder
Dr. Stephen Cabral is a board-certified Naturopath, Ayurvedic, Functional Medicine and Integrative Health Practitioner. He is the founder, creator and teacher of the Integrative Health Practitioner Institute. Dr. Cabral is extremely passionate about sharing his wisdom and knowledge with the world so that he can help people to heal at a root cause level. He does a daily podcast called the Cabral Concept where he teaches every day how to heal, get well, lose weight, be fit and live the best life possible. His dream and goal for IHP and this community is to spread the truth about how we can truly heal our bodies. Dr. Cabral is also the author of two books: A Man’s Guide to Muscle and Strength and The Rain Barrell Effect, which is the foundational reading material for the IHP course.
Dr. Cabral was diagnosed at the age of 17 with a life altering illness. He studied and traveled around the world and discovered how to combine ancient ayurvedic healing practices with state-of-the-art naturopath and functional medicine to fully rebalance the body and re-energize it with life. With the help of many other doctors and mentors, and with his own pursuit to find the answers, Dr. Cabral is now extremely healthy and feeling better every day. He is passionate about teaching others how to remove toxicities and supplement as necessary when there are deficiencies. He is unbiased and open to all different forms of medicines and also a variety of whole food, mostly plant-based diet plans. Ultimately, his philosophy is to help people to heal as a bio-individual with unique needs.
Dr. Cabral travels around the world going on interviews, teaching at conferences and pursuing his passion to help others. When he is not traveling, you can find him in New England. He lives with his wife, two young daughters and French bulldog in Boston, Massachusetts and loves to relax with his friends and family in Maine.
